If eligible, short term case management, focused upon advocacy and connecting families to services, can be provided by the Family Resource Specialist.
Being a parent is the most demanding and rewarding job you will ever have. Yet there isn’t a manual available to give you instructions when you have questions or need help. There is one place you can turn to for answers and support—The Family Resource Center and Family Resource Specialist can assist you with finding the resources you need to raise healthy and successful children.
The Family Resource Specialist provides community-based case management and advocacy to support families with children less than 19 years of age and adolescence ages 16 – 24, who have behavioral or mental health needs. Our specialist can provide resources and referrals for ANYONE in the county; regardless of family status (single, married, with children, with grown children, with no children, etc), income, or any other restrictions.
How it works –
- Speak with our Family Resource Specialist about the problems your family is facing.
