Parent Think Tank meets the last Thursday of every month from 5-7pm at the Family Resource Center’s Office. This group is designed for Parents of children with special or intensive needs group to give and receive support, provide each other with ideas and strategies more effective to help navigate our children through childhood and adolescence, and to speak about the everyday challenges of raising children with special or intensive needs.  A parent’s group that gives hope and lets you know that you are not alone on your journey

Being a Parent is the most demanding and rewarding job you will ever have. Yet, there isn’t a manual available to give you instructions when you have questions or need help. But now, there is one place you can turn to for the support you need to raise healthy and successful children.

We are your systems and Family Navigators. Just like a good family friend, we can help you find the resources you need and our services are free of charge.

How it works –

1. Speak with a System Navigator – about the problems your family is facing

2. The Navigator Will – tell you what programs and services can help, and how to contact them.

3. Contact the Programs – or have your Navigator contact them for you and get you on track to getting the support you want.
